El Pastor Pedro Olivieri emigró de Puerto Rico a la ciudad de New York a los 7 años con sus padres Oscar Olivieri Matos y Rosalina Bayron Colon. Dos años después sus padres aceptaron a Cristo como su salvador y en el 1962 empezaron a congregarse en una misión que empezaba en el sótano de los padres de Anastasia Olivieri en Inwood Heights. Allí se conocieron y fueron parte de la iglesia creciente, La Puerta Estrecha. En su juventud ellos ayudaron a la formación del departamento de niños y jóvenes.En Diciembre del 1967 el pastor Olivieri fue llamado al servicio Militar de los Estados Unidos en pleno tiempo de la guerra de Vietnam. Por gracia de Dios fue enviado a South Corea, donde hizo servicio en el DMZ, la guarda raya de Norte y Sur de Corea. En Junio del Año 1969 termino su servicio militar obteniendo el rango de Sargento.
